RESPONSE #1 is Below:
Hi Amelia!
ORDER CUSTOM, PLAGIARISM-FREE PAPER
You mentioned methods of research prior to HIT. What a difference! I remember sitting in the library for hours with my mother while she was working on her master’s degree. At that point about 20 years ago, I think there was one huge computer or paper directory that listed article names only. Then you had to locate the journal among thousands of others, find the article, then review it to see if it was even relevant to your own research. Microfilm was even more painstaking! Without advances in HIT, remote online education would be irrelevant. HIT has definitely made research more user-friendly. However, “the sheer quantity of information does not by itself create a more informed citizenry without complimentary abilities to use this information effectively” (McGonigle & Mastrian, 2015, p. 412).
With so much information available to us, especially from internet search engines, what recommendations would you make to a lay-person ‘googling’ medical information so that they could determine the information’s validity?

RESPONSE #2 Below:
Thanks for your post Amelia. What sort of evidence was shown in Stoop’s article? Were educational outcomes for patients studied in some kind of way? How was evidence produced using research? Would love to hear more, I think you have a very interesting practice concern.

You must proofread your paper. But do not strictly rely on your computer’s spell-checker and grammar-checker; failure to do so indicates a lack of effort on your part and you can expect your grade to suffer accordingly. Papers with numerous misspelled words and grammatical mistakes will be penalized. Read over your paper – in silence and then aloud – before handing it in and make corrections as necessary. Often it is advantageous to have a friend proofread your paper for obvious errors. Handwritten corrections are preferable to uncorrected mistakes. Week 8 Responses Nursing Technology.
Use a standard 10 to 12 point (10 to 12 characters per inch) typeface. Smaller or compressed type and papers with small margins or single-spacing are hard to read. It is better to let your essay run over the recommended number of pages than to try to compress it into fewer pages. Week 8 Responses Nursing Technology.
Likewise, large type, large margins, large indentations, triple-spacing, increased leading (space between lines), increased kerning (space between letters), and any other such attempts at “padding” to increase the length of a paper are unacceptable, wasteful of trees, and will not fool your professor.
The paper must be neatly formatted, double-spaced with a one-inch margin on the top, bottom, and sides of each page. When submitting hard copy, be sure to use white paper and print out using dark ink. If it is hard to read your essay, it will also be hard to follow your argument. Week 8 Responses Nursing Technology.
