For this assignment, read the two articles: “VA Nurses Tell of Distress at Patient Care Conditions” and “Maintaining Professional Standing”. These two articles were written at least 50 years ago and describe workforce issues from the past. Begin your assignment by listing a few of the workforce issues from the two articles. Then answer the following questions: Are the identified workforce issues from the above articles still an issue today or are they resolved (and no longer) issues? Explain your answer by providing examples for one or two of the issues; support your examples with literature resources. Other than the above issues, describe an issue in nursing practice today.
