They provide efficient procedures in communicating, storing and communicating certain information. Through the establishment of the database, the ICT has been enhancing the improvement of system efficiencies along with the prevention of medical errors. Problem statement The healthcare organization has experienced that there have been 500 patients whose records have been incorrectly entered in the electronic system in comparison to the national organization value which is 700 which have triggered to research impacts associated with technological innovation. Key outcome and performance The data to be applied in this research is archived data or stored data. This is the data which have been saved in healthcare organization dealing with the deliverance of the service to the patients through the application of various system applications. The data will be used as a comparison to data currently collected through the use of system databases in the healthcare organization. In essence of obtaining the data, the approval letter is to be obtained from the review HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATION 3 board which permits acquiring the data to be applied in the research. After the data has been obtained, the analysis will be done and compare how the implementation of technology has been of impact in terms of enhancing performance in service delivery. After the analysis, the conclusion will be drawn basing on the impact associated with the application of effective communication and information technology (Brown, et al., 2019). Current authoritative literature The healthcare organization has been faced by a great problem on the utilization of outdated or traditional methods of data collection. The methods applied in the collection of data and research activities need to be enhanced for a better outcome. The information management has not been in a position to have a clear analysis of the application of new technology hence services have not been considerate. In consideration of this, it has been recommended that there is great importance in enhancing information technology and information for the effective exchange of ideas. Organizational climate for leadership and values in healthcare The use of the technology in the healthcare organization is associated with the existence of new methods in the treatment hence ensuring a conducive environment for the services delivery. This ensures that there is friendship and good relationship among the patients and hence better information can be obtained. The accuracy of the information being collected depends on the communication and technology strategy being establishment. A friendly climate should, therefore, be enhanced with the prime goal of ensuring trust among the members and hence better information can be obtained (Lorenz, et al., 2019). General Structure of a Data Review Process The process will differ based on the topic, but follow the following steps as a part of the general process of a data review: • Review the literature to determine the relevance of the topic. • Ensure that ample literature exists on the topic. • Identify up to three factors or aspects of the problem which are covered in the literature. • Articulate the relevant performance indicators and associated units of measure. • Compile raw data. • Create a structure for the visual display of data, for example, a bar graph, pie chart, process map with variance, trend line, and histogram.
