Next step, as you revise the paper, is to go back to the literature to find authors who have written about these concepts, so that you can cite them, to address this criterion. For example: One strategy I consider to help people work effectively together is the need to communicate effectively. The use of SBAR or CUS are the best ways to help people effectively communicate.

However, the concern of crucial stakeholders is not the application of the strategy but an understanding of its elements and the utilization of the knowledge for the benefits of patients. Therefore, the high-level cohesion between the members of the interdisciplinary team would be due to their willingness to collaborate and harness the profits from the practices in ways that limit its weaknesses and contribute to positive health outcomes and patient safety. Therefore, the definition of the concept to the nurse is the opportunity to perform advanced roles and contribute to the decision-making processes for the care of the patient within the context of their ethical and professional obligations. A clear understanding of the roles of the members of the interprofessional team is the main characteristic that highlights the level of collaboration and cooperation within the group. Also, this attribute of the interprofessional team is the one that allows members to recognize the INTERPROFESSIONAL COLLABORATION IN HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS 3 significance of the knowledge and skills of their colleagues, as well the provision of the support to perform these unique roles. For example, the value placed on the contributions from the performance of the roles of a medical specialist can be seen in the meeting of the patient’s daily needs. While challenges are integral elements of the public health system of any society, an active interprofessional team possesses the capacity to strengthen commitment to shared goals and strive for solutions that would be used to overcome adversity (Kendall-Gallagher, Reeves, Alexanian, & Kitto, 2017). An example of this characteristic is the willingness of team members to work extra hours to meet patient needs during periods of staff shortages. Furthermore, the level of trust and confidence that exist within an effective interprofessional is usually high, especially when it is related to the application of the professional skills and competencies of team members. In this regard, the self-confidence that a practitioner has is used by others to develop a sense of trust in him or her, as well as build the confidence and belief of the entire group. An additional attribute of an active interprofessional team is the efficiency of conflict resolution strategies. Although it is normal for two individuals to disagree on a particular and use the situation to define their interactions and relationship, this is not the case of a successful interprofessional team because of the ability of its practitioners to differentiate personal and professional disagreement, as well as consider the best interest of the patient. A final primary characteristic of the successful team in the healthcare organization is the understanding that pressures experienced by members should be addressed collectively, which one of the core domains of interprofessional is training. Similarly, the health care practitioner that is part of the interdisciplinary team would enjoy the opportunity to perform advanced roles, acquire new skills, and understand the modalities for implementing various evidence-based health interventions in multiple sets. Some of the advantages of the establishment of the team to the organization include reduced cost of medical liabilities, high patronage, and capacity to invest in various specialties for future operation. Interestingly, the use of collaborative leadership in healthcare has limitations that are experienced by the practitioner such as increased workload and constant demand for new skills and competencies. A final dimension of the weaknesses of the approach is the increased cost of operations that the healthcare organization must meet to sustain the team, which could deny other aspects of its operations that require resources. The need to define the professional roles of team members is one of the major challenges that are faced by the team member, especially when the definition is expected to be done in the context of boundaries. According to Bosch and Mansell (2015), the issues begin to arise when others question behavior and contribution of the professional. Other issues that might hinder the effectiveness of the impact of the team is include excessive emotion investment in the needs of the patient and failure to accept the recommendations of other members. While these challenges are shared in a variety of settings where the team is utilized patient care, the leaders of the healthcare organization can role delineation approaches, team building principles, and the provision of effective communication tools to overcome these barriers. The goal of the implementation of these strategies is the identification of the specific issue that could limit the level of collaboration between members. In conclusion, successful implementation of the principles that govern the practices of interprofessional teams can be measured through the attainment of shared visions and goals for the project. Also, members of the interprofessional teams consider the increased utilization of collaborative practices as evidence of the success because it reflects the mutual respect, trust, and confidence that team members have for each other. For example, the interprofessional team that is given the responsibility to ensure patient safety would regard reduced readmission rates as evidence for success. In contrast, a team responsible for reducing the cost of care using evidencebased practices would consider access to care of at-risk and vulnerable population as a criterion for success.
