1 Discussion Week 4 Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Course ID Instructor’s Name Due date 2 Discussion Question Week 1 Discuss the factors and approach you will use to develop a professional partnership with your selected site. As a geriatric nurse, many factors and approaches may be used in developing a professional partnership. It is important to note that many interfaces connect a patient to many healthcare practitioners in the present world. There is an increased interaction between patients and various healthcare workers. As such, there is the need to have an effective professional partnership that ensures that patient safety is maintained. Some of the factors and approaches used in developing a professional partnership include setting a clear expectation (Gallant, Beaulieu & Carnevale, 2002). This allows for a strong connection with a selected site, which is education centers for elderly patients with obesity. Another approach in developing a professional partnership with the selected site understands all stakeholders’ responsibilities (Gallant, Beaulieu & Carnevale, 2002).
With every individual’s set responsibilities, the aims and objectives of having the partnership are met effectively. Another approach is developing a personal bond between the patient and the healthcare worker. Having a personal relationship with patients increases reciprocal feelings, which are critical in treatment (Gallant, Beaulieu & Carnevale, 2002). Overall, there are many factors and approaches that may be employed in developing a professional partnership-setting a clear expectation, understanding the responsibilities of all stakeholders, and developing a personal bond. What is the importance of collaborating with other healthcare professionals to establish trusting relationships to gain commitment for mobilizing health initiatives? In modern healthcare, it is necessary to note that healthcare is a team sport, particularly in hospital settings. The typical patient experience features many health professionals working in 3 tandem to deliver care and a good patient experience. Therefore, interprofessional collaboration in healthcare is important and should be a priority in many healthcare organizations.
There are many benefits of collaborating with other healthcare professionals to establish trusting relationships to gain commitment for mobilizing health initiatives. One of the benefits is improving patient care and outcomes (O’Daniel & Rosenstein, 2008). Collaborating with other healthcare workers provides a unique perspective and insights about a patient’s treatment (O’Daniel & Rosenstein, 2008). A more comprehensive and holistic view of the patient is provided. Secondly, collaborating with other healthcare professionals reduces medical errors that are most of the time catastrophic (O’Daniel & Rosenstein, 2008). Interprofessional collaboration reduces preventable adverse drug reactions and optimizes medication dosages. Collaborating with other health professionals allows for faster treatment. Interprofessional collaboration bridges the gaps between communication delays resulting from poor collaboration (O’Daniel & Rosenstein, 2008). Lastly, interprofessional collaboration decreases inefficiencies and healthcare costs. It improves patients experience and saves money by cutting on workflow redundancies (O’Daniel & Rosenstein, 2008). Overall, these benefits help in establishing trusting relationships to gain commitment for mobilizing health initiatives. References 4 Gallant, M. H., Beaulieu, M. C., & Carnevale, F. A. (2002).

Health educations are vital in maintaining a healthy community through teaching significant measures in practicing a healthy life. My community needs education factors that promote healthy living. The main educational issue is healthy living. Maintaining healthy living measures is essential in maintaining preventing diseases and disorders. My community has a rise in numbers of people falling ill of preventable diseases. The rate of obesity is high, resulting in heart-related problems and weaker immune systems. For the youth, obesity has taken over the course resulting in a lazy and sick community. The elderly, on the other hand, have developed earlier old age issues from poor health habits. From the records and reports presented by the community’s medical research department, the individual in the society is experiencing health issues and disorders related to the lifestyle. Starting from poor exercising habits, drug use issues by the youth introduced by the parents as most smoke. Alcohol intake has also increased to an alarming rate as many individuals have cirrhosis. As a result, the community needs education on a healthy lifestyle.
The community education project will take place at home, using my family members as the community. Sad to admit, some of us in my family are actual victims of our own poor health habits, ranging from smoking, overly drinking, and unhealthy dietary practices. Also, having a family history of fatalities resulting from health complications secondary to disease processes that are otherwise preventable. Having such an interesting family dynamic of a cross-section of people complacent of making better lifestyle modifications into promoting good health and 3 wellbeing, my family is just a perfect pie of the community befitting this program. The education outreach will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 10am to 4pm. The neighboring public park area is a common place used for outreach activities and we live not far away from there. The size would allow for an extended family member to attend as though a family picnic which we usually organized around this time coming out of the freezing cold weather of the Midwest. It would be a perfect site for educating my family (the community) as space allows interactions without breaching the government’s isolation regulation. Also, practical evaluations and one-on-one discussions can easily apply from the ample space. Unlike halls, that would mean providing seats for people, and congestion issues would affect people with conditions. Conclusion In conclusion, the topic of discussion will be healthy living.
The focus will be on lifestyle modifications and disease preventions. As a result of the rise in cases of disease processes stemming from our inability to engage in healthy activity, the community needs to engage in measures that will aim at promoting healthy living. Where best to start than in individual families, the most essential units of the community. Members of the family will be expected to contribute by bringing pertinent subject matter relating to health and wellness. Throughout the modules, you will see assignments referring to your obtaining a signed permission slip, which is NOT required at this time, due to COVID– UNLESS you are using a public venue other than your own home or your friend or family’s homes for your presentation. . You also will not be interacting in person with other professionals due to COVID-all interactions and collaborations with other professionals to gather information, are to be by phone, email, or virtually. Any time you see the pre-COVID instructions in the classroom referring to “going into the community” just disregard them, because you are not required to do so, due to COVID. This class and its assignments were created long before COVID, so assignments as they are currently written, do not necessarily take into consideration the COVID situation. Have a great week! Hey pal, I usually do not like to work with many tutors during a particular course. I prefer just one per course for sticking to the same thought process. You are all great in your efforts to help some of us. My proposal is this: I would work with you throughout this course offering $20 for discussions and $25 for assignments. Module 2 Community Healthy Lifestyle Education Project Essay
Tips % will vary. I will attempt to invite you alone first, and if you are unavailable, I would use another available support. You will have access to my classroom to be able to have full insight into the requirements and expectations associated with modules/discussions/assignments and importantly the instructor’s feedback after submissions of assignments. At least, this would give us enough time to prepare for prompt submission. I would purchase any required textbook electronically via bookshelf/VitalSource. I would be the one to submit any work to classroom discussions and assignment to dropbox having reviewed them. You will send me responses to two classmates discussion questions. If this work, you, and your team can assist me for the rest of the course and hopefully others to come. Speaking of [your] team; should there be any other person included, fine, but any access to classroom should be allowed to you alone. You can always fwd necessary contents to the team. Hope you like my proposal. Thanks! Module 2 Community Healthy Lifestyle Education Project Essay
