PICOT Question
Revise the PICOT question you wrote in the Topic 1 assignment using the feedback you received from your instructor.
The final PICOT question will provide a framework for your capstone project (the project students must complete during their final course in the RN-BSN program of study).
Research Critiques
In the Topic 2 and Topic 3 assignments, you completed a qualitative and quantitative research critique on two articles for each type of study (4 articles total). The completed analysis should connect to your identified practice problem of interest that is the basis for your PICOT question.
Refer to “Research Critiques and PICOT Guidelines – Final Draft.” Questions under each heading should be addressed as a narrative in the structure of a formal paper.

Literature Evaluation Table Student Name: Cosette Hodges Summary of Clinical Issue Aging is a major concern in developed countries. Unfortunately, aging is associated with a plethora of mental health issues, including cognitive decline and dementia. Findings from recent studies suggest there are nearly 50 million people with dementia globally, which translates to about 5% of the population above 65 years. By 2050, the number of persons with dementia is expected to exceed 131.5 million (Lauriks et al., 2018). Dementia is chronic and progressive; while the need for care in the early stages is minimal and can be handled by informal caregivers, the situation deteriorates as the disease progresses. Professional care providers are required as the disease progresses, which necessitates admission to a nursing home. Despite the relatively high prevalence of dementia among the elderly, scientists are yet to develop a successful intervention to minimize the cognitive decline in this population. Cognitive decline is associated with the inability to undertake activities of daily living, necessitating assistance. The high prevalence necessitates the development of technological interventions to ensure these people continue living safely and independently in the community for as long as possible. The rationale for these interventions is that living in familiar spaces is invaluable for persons with a cognitive decline since they are deeply conversant with all the objects around them, the navigation routes, and the general layout
