Course Title Student Name Institution Affiliation Date 1 Reflection and Next Steps The dissemination plan for the DNP Project outcomes and recommendations will entail a few major approaches that will ensure the details of the project reach all staff members in the organization and all the stakeholders. One major approach will entail the preparation of poster and podium presentations across the organization to ensure that all staff members are made aware of the DNP Project outcomes and recommendations. Podium poster presentations will be more effective in disseminating the details of the project among staff members because they are more interactive, allow for more opportunities for networking and in-depth discussions, and have greater graphic flexibility that enables the presentation of all types of project data (Sipe & Andrist, 2018).

The informal, collegial dialogue that podium presentations will initiate among a broader audience will be essential in providing staff members with an opportunity to air their views on the outcomes and suggested recommendations and offer immediate feedback to inform the way forward. The presentations will use reasonable amounts of text, images or graphs/tables that do not cause too much visual distraction and appropriate use of available space to include all essential information (Smith-Stoner, 2018). Making the stakeholders aware of the project outcomes and recommendations will be done through a written or verbal executive summary that will also be aimed at practice site organization leaders. While presenting the outcomes and recommendations of the project, it will be structured as an executive summary that entails all essential details, informing the stakeholders of all related aspects of the project, including any additional financial requirements and suggestions for a better future discharge process and checklist tools that would benefit patients and limit ED overcrowding (Patton, 2019).

The sharing of financial and production resources with stakeholders will also be done through the development and presentation of a digital poster, a grand rounds presentation, and a PowerPoint presentation. Webinar presentations will also be used to present project details and distribute them across 2 the organization among staff members, leaders, and stakeholders who will be essential in implementing the suggested recommendations to make enhance the effectiveness of the new discharge checklist tool and improve the overall discharge process. This will ensure that the major project goal of reducing the rate of unnecessary return visits to the ED is achieved, and any weak points addressed. 3 References Patton, C. (2019).

Introduction • Project Description • Prevention of infection at the outpatient clinic requires a well-developed facility protocol for managing patients with infectious diseases. •Purpose • Develop and implement a safety protocols based on current evidence to reduce nurses’ exposure to infectious diseases in an outpatient setting. • Outcomes • Improved preparation and management of infectious diseases in outpatient facility using a safety algorithm. • Reduced staff exposure to infectious diseases in the outpatient clinic. • Increase in staff knowledge on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) •Increased use of telemedicine for patients who are ill or tested positive for Covid-19 Cite your slides here 2 Introduction Background and Significance of Problem to Healthcare • The nursing work environment may change during pandemics • The novel COVID-19 has managed to change the work environment for nurses. • During the pandemic, healthcare workers experienced psychological tensions, Covid-19 exposure, fear, fatigue, and burnout. • Healthcare administrators should consider evidencebased protocols to help nurses adapt to underlying changes in the workplace environment. Cite your slides here 3 Practice Setting • Practice Setting • A community health outpatient facility • Target Population/Community/Stakeholders • Target Population • Nurses are the target participants in the project • Patients are the primary consumers for the outcomes • Stakeholders • • • • Cite your slides here Health care administrators and managers Nurses and medical practitioners Laboratory technicians Medical assistants. 4 Needs Assessment • High mortality rates due to infectious diseases within their lines of duty • Positive COVID-19 infection of clinical nurses during the 2020 pandemic • 8 clinical nurses in the outpatient facility contracted COVID19

• Lack of knowledge on the use and disposal of PPEs that may contribute to increased infections and deaths during the pandemic • Lack of existing evidence-based practice in the healthcare clinic • Lack of safety protocols for nurses Cite your slides here 5 Theoretical Framework Transpersonal nursing Theory Rogers Diffusion of Innovation Theory Carative Factors Human Caring Transpersonal Caring Relationship Knowledge Persuasion Implementation Decision Caring Occasion Confirmation Cite your slides here 6 Review of Literature Databases Google scholar Science direct NIH Purdue University Global Library Level 1 = 8 Level 2 = 0 Level 3 = 2 Key Terms Level 4 = 1 Nursing, evidence-based, COVID19, nursing care, outcomes, therapy, personal protective equipment, telemedicine Level 5 = 1 Purdue University Global | This is Where the Title of the Presentation Will Go Level 6 = 1 7 Literature Synthesis Nurses’ preparedness to the pandemic • • • • Telemedicine and telehealth in clinical activities • Coombes & Gregory (2019) Level IV • Jnr 2020 (2020) Level I • Galiero, et al., (2020) Level I Potentials of emergencies during pandemics. • • • • Cite your slides here Mubaarak Al Baalharith & Pappiya (2021) Level I Chua et al., (2021) Level I Hou, et al., (2020)
