  2. Identify the four central concepts (Person, Environment, Health/Illness, Nursing) defined in all nursing theories.
  3. Recognize the similarities and differences between selected nursing theories and frameworks.
  4. Describe how philosophies of nursing and nursing theory inform each other.
  5. Examine the relevance and utility of specific nursing theories to nursing practice.
  6. Develop a personal definition of the metaparadigm of nursing based on your practice and readings on theories and philosophies of nursing.
