The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has identified six priority health risk behaviors that contribute to the leading causes of death, disability, and social problems in the United States. These behaviors, often established during childhood and early adolescence, are:

For this activity, pick one of the six priority health risk behaviors as identified by the CDC. Conduct an online search of news sources for articles related to your topic and select three different articles to work with. Good sources to consider include CNN, ABC News, CBS News, Cnet News, New York Times, U.S News and World Report, Wired News and NPR News. For your review, please follow these steps in order to develop a thoughtful and thorough discussion of how your topic is being covered in the media. This paper should be 5-6 pages and written according to APA format with 12 font and 1 inch margins.

Step 1: Introduction: Briefly introduce the priority health risk behavior you have chosen and why it qualifies as a risky behavior (half a page) 10 points

Step 2: Description and analysis: Summarize three different articles that discuss your topic. For each article, be sure to establish your context by giving any important bibliographic information-such as authors, titles, where the articles appear, when they were written etc. You might also want to include some information about each author. Provide your analysis of the articles including your opinions and insights
