Define Approved Patient Scenario

Obesity was recently discovered in a 20-year-old Hispanic lady patient. She previously

worked as a special education teacher and said that she has no learning obstacles. She is taken

aback by the diagnosis and is apprehensive regarding her ability to control her rapidly growing

weight. Despite the fact that she has heard that correctly measuring and recording her diet is crucial

in helping to control it, she wishes to understand how to do so. Calorie Counter – MyNetDiary,

Food Diary Tracker is critical in preventing obesity since it records exercise levels to establish

further treatments required to address the issue. Children that are obese are heavier than the average

weight recorded for their age and height groups. Following her doctor’s consultation, initiatives

such as education and a strategy to handle the issue were devised (MyNetDiary.com, 2021).

Changes in lifestyle behaviors by the entire family are among the steps being taken to address the

issue. Providing the child with healthful foods that are low in sugar and low in fat can help to

prevent the problems linked with childhood overweight and obesity. The app will be used to track
